Please contact me and I can send you an intake form, with my disclosure, via email (or snail mail) and we can set up an appointment time.
I offer both evening and daytime appointments, as well as weekend appointments.
Also, feel free to call or email if you have any questions that have not been addressed on the site. I am currently working out of my home office in Underwood, WA (across from Hood River). I am licensed to see folks in the state of WA and OR.
Fees
My current fee for individuals is 125.00 for a 45 minute session. If you wish to have a longer session, we can discuss and payment would be prorated at the 45 minute session cost. For couples it is 150.00 for a 50 minute session. Many times, due to the complexity of working with a couple, couple clients opt for 75 or 90 minute sessions, pro-rated at the 50 minute couples session cost. These longer sessions are usually very useful in the beginning of therapy. Most individuals make weekly appointments, especially helpful in the beginning of therapy. This, depending on your circumstances, is also negotiable and flexible. Please ask me about counseling via video conferencing if this is of interest to you and you live in Washington or Oregon.
Please ask me about sliding scale payments. These are offered on a case by case basis and with limited spots available. I am always open to a discussion related to this.
Insurance*
I am now in-network with the following insurance:
Premera Blue Cross and plans that fall under their umbrella: Please understand it is your responsibility to call your insurance company to understand what your responsibility is in terms of any co-insurance; co-pays; deductibles. Always give my name and location to be assured I am an identified provider in-network. I will need a copy of your insurance card before our initial meeting.

Out-of-network provider
Health insurance can help offset the cost of therapy, but sometimes there are trade-offs in choice, flexibility, limits to kind or duration of treatment, 45-60 minute session limits, and confidentiality. Some insurance companies either have very high deductibles or they do not pay for couples therapy.
For all out-of-network clients, I will provide you with the necessary paperwork so that you can submit claims for potential reimbursement. It will be your responsibility to find out if your insurance company will accept out of network providers and will provide you reimbursement with me as your provider. All fees will be due at time of service and you will be responsible for reimbursement from your provider. Please check your coverage and consider asking these questions:
Because therapy spots are limited, forty-eight hours notice is required for appointment cancellations so that your appointment time can be used for other clients. Missed sessions (not cancelled 48 hours prior) will be $100. Insurance, if you are using it, will not cover this.
Payment
Payment is due at the beginning of each session, this includes any co-pays. Cash, personal checks, major credit cards and Paypal are accepted (with 3% fee added to cover their costs).
Couples Therapeutic Weekends in the Gorge
This is temporarily suspended due to Covid. I would, however, be able to do extended sessions via video. Let me know if this is of interest to you. Otherwise, please return to website or call/email to inquire about when I will resume this.
